FBA are in the Romford Recorder!

Our LIFE school, FBA, were featured in the 12th April edition of the Romford Recorder with coverage of their recent event hosting 14 Chinese delegates from the Jiangsu Province.

LIFE Education Trust Director of Support, Paul Claydon, hosted the Chinese delegation, and successfully showed them around FBA, introducing them to staff and students. The purpose of their visit was to learn about good educational practices in England and how we deliver certain aspects of the curriculum at the school. The visiting teachers were especially interested in teaching methods and how we support students’ social and emotional wellbeing. During the visit they were able to speak with students and staff as well as visit the school farm to learn more about the benefits of having this facility on site. Presentations from the Student Council, The CEO of LIFE Education Trust and the Ethos Development Manager were very well received by the delegates who were impressed by the facilities and the programme we have in place to support our staff and students’ development.

“LIFE Education Trust and The Frances Bardsley Academy are extremely proud of our international links. To be able to host and provide training for a group of staff from the Jiangsu Province of China was a privilege for us. Our dedicated staff and excellent students enjoyed sharing their expertise and we look forward to similar visits in the future”
