Russett
Russett is the Benhurst Primary School dog. He is a Cockapoo, which means that he is half poodle and half cocker spaniel, but lots of people think he is a poodle because of his tight curls!
Russett loves being the school dog at Benhurst so much, in particular because he gets so much attention. He loves his daily routines of joining Ms Larkman, on the playground at the end of the day, to say goodbye to all the lovely pupils and families with many stopping by to give him a stroke. One of his favourite parts of the school day is spending time on the field as there is always so much going on including watching the sport teams working on tactics and taking part in Forest School. Russett loves being part of such a welcoming school community and loves nothing more than when members of our community come to say hi with a high five!
