Why play sports?

Sports can improve your physical help. But beyond that they can sports has all sorts of benefits. Taking part in sports can boost your confidence and self-esteem. It can help you develop teamwork and leadership skills. Working toward a common goal helps you develop communication and problem solving skills that will benefit you on the field and off. It’s a great way to build friendships. Running and playing sports can help your brain to keep active and it is also a great stress reliever and relaxer. Most importantly, it is also lots of fun!

Why do you play sports? What is your favourite sport?

Million Miles

At LIFE Education Trust we know that being active and doing sports helps to keep both our bodies and our minds healthy. This year we have set ourselves the very BIG challenge across all our schools to together move 1 million miles before the end of the school year.

Our staff and our pupils are involved. Even some of our LIFE animals are helping us to move more. We have people walking, skipping, running, dancing, cheer leading, playing football, tennis and basketball.

Let us know how you are doing your miles. Take a photo of yourself getting your miles and send it to your school office. Best Million Miles photo will get a trophy!
