Ceri has worked in the teaching profession for 26 years, having earned a BA Hons degree in Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London, followed by a PGCE in Primary Education at Hertfordshire University in 1997. She has worked in schools across Essex, in Harlow and Colchester, with a special focus on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Ceri became a qualified SENCo in 2010, as she is truly passionate about ensuring that every student, regardless of their abilities, receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally. To further her dedication to inclusive education, Ceri also completed an MA Ed in SEN and Education Leadership and in 2017, she stepped into her first Headteacher role at Holy Trinity Eight Ash Green. Ceri is now the Executive Head at Holy Trinity and Fordham All Saints as well as studying for her NPQEL. She continues to champion the values of excellence, inclusivity, and educational leadership as part of the values of LIFE Education Trust.
