Head of School
Ford End School
Sarah studied for a music degree at Anglia Ruskin and then gained her PGCE qualification from Kingston University a year later in 1995. She has a wide range of experience across the primary age range; from large junior schools to small village primary schools. Additionally, Sarah has been a school governor in three of these schools. During these busy years, Sarah brought up her three girls single handedly. Sarah joined Ford End in 2015 as Deputy Head and has been Acting Headteacher for the past three years. She has developed Collective Worship within the school and has a particular interest in the teaching of the arts and how this impacts on a child's learning. Sarah enjoys the challenges of class teaching as well as leading the developments across the wider school community. Sarah has recently enrolled on the NPQH Qualification course.
