Nidhi Mittal
Nidhi comes with 20 years of professional experience and a background in charity and business strategy, international development research, policy and impact and child-centred initiatives. Nidhi brought her strategic coaching, analytical and programme management skills to the fore in organisations like Trussell Trust where she supported a number of foodbanks and affiliated charities across Southeast and East of England with developing their strategies, and in Save the Children where she supported country programmes, including in the education sector in Asia and Africa.
Nidhi has also provided technical, strategic and research and impact oversight, in her leadership of large multi-million pound UKAid funded programmes at Ricardo Energy & Environment and research and policy-focused country programmes at the Coalition for Urban Transitions, a policy think tank. Nidhi is currently the Founder and Director of Co-creating Futures and has been collaborating with a range of organisations such as Trussell, REACH Community Projects, Cambridge City Foodbank and Music Relief Foundation in an independent capacity to deliver various strategy and change initiatives.
Outside work, Nidhi is passionate about the mental well-being of individuals, children and families and is currently training part-time in integrative counselling and psychotherapy. Nidhi is active in her local community, loves supporting children and young people and volunteers with NSPCC as a Childline Counsellor, with Phase to facilitate workshops and engage in 1-to-1 mentoring to support children’s emotional resilience in primary and secondary schools locally, and with Kidasha, a children’s charity as their Trustee.
